New authentication system
A new service has been added to improve login process and user account management. Previously, users needed to be provisioned by the administrator or exist in a third party authentication system. Now, users can sign-up by using a simple web interface, and also change and recover their password via a web interface.
On the other side, login templates can be customized for each of the login sections (new user, lost password, change password), additional security policies can be implemented (ex: forbid a user login after several invalid login attempts) and the integration of new authentication oAuth providers is now much easier.

There are much more new features and bugfixes included in the version. You can check the complete details in the release notes for all the products included in this version: Quobis wac v5.0 release notes
